The rate reductions are for 2-year fixed rates at 60% and 85% LTV.
Barclays Mortgages is set to reduce rates on its 2-year fixed residential mortgages.
Available for purchases and remortgages, the 2-year fix at 60% loan-to-value (LTV) from loans between £5,000 to £2m will be cut from 1.24% to 1.21% while the 2-year fix at 85% LTV from loans between £5,000 and £1m will decrease from 1.54% to 1.51%.
Both come with a £999 product fee.
The same changes applied within the residential rate switch and further advance, although the 2-year fix at 60% LTV has a maximum loan of £2m, rather than £1m.
The 2-year fixed EMC Reward rate at 60% LTV was also cut from 1.24% to 1.21% while the 1.54% fixed EMC Reward mortgage at 85% LTV was decreased from 1.54% to 1.51%. Both come with a £999 product fee.
The changes come into effect tomorrow.
