Bath has been noted as the top location to live post-COVID, according to Garrington Property Finders.
The firm analysed almost 1,400 cities, towns and villages across the UK based on natural beauty, architectural beauty and quality of life.
Furthermore, Tenby in Pembrokeshire and Bradford on Avon in Wiltshire were recorded as the second and third best locations to live.
Official ONS data outlines that over a third (34%) of Britons are still working entirely from home.
As a result, there has been a shift towards larger properties with more outdoor space, noted Garrington Property Finders.
Jonathan Hopper, chief executive of Garrington Property Finders, said: “As the dust settles on an extraordinary, transformative year for the property market, thousands of people are making a fundamental reassessment of what they want from their home.
“Over a third of workers are still working entirely from home, and many of us may never go back to a daily commute.
“This cutting of the cord with the office means people are freer to work remotely at least some of the time, and we’re seeing a stream of buyers keen to explore areas where they can get more home, and a better quality of life, for their money.”
