Belmont Green Finance Limited has registered ‘Vida Homeloans’ as a trade mark and is developing the brand for use in the intermediary mortgage market.
New lender Belmont Green has confirmed plans to offer mortgages via intermediaries under the brand name Vida Homeloans.
David Tweedy, chief executive of the lender which is due to launch imminently, said: “We can confirm that Belmont Green Finance Limited has registered ‘Vida Homeloans’ as a trade mark and is developing the brand for use in the intermediary mortgage market.
“We are also continuing to undertake extensive research amongst intermediaries and customers to identify the product and service requirements of key segments of the UK mortgage market.”
Earlier this month the lender revealed it had tempted Leeds Building Society’s Louisa Sedgwick to join the team as director of sales in the Summer.
Her appointment followed that of Simon Burnell, the second charge specialist formerly at Nemo, in April.
The lender has recently opened a new office and confirmed ambitious growth plans with the aim of building a team of 70 before launch.
