The Liverpool-based national law firm will rebrand at the same time as moving to 20 Chapel Street later in the year.
Adele Whittle, director of operations at the firm, said: “Rebranding from Goldsmith Williams to GWlegal will see us better represent the company that we are – a thoroughly modern, technologically-savvy firm in an ever-changing marketplace.
“At GW, we offer the everyday legal services you require to move smoothly through each stage life’s journey – property law when purchasing your first home; equity release when you retire; financial claims or personal injury services when something goes wrong; will writing to protect you and your loved ones. The full cycle.
“The decision to go for a circular logo reflects that, whereas the overall refreshed look mirrors our vision to move forward and investigate new areas of work.”
GWlegal will release new business-to-business and business-to-consumer websites as well as improved letters, leaflets and other promotional materials, the firm said.
It will continue to be headed by partners Eddie Goldsmith, Chris Williams and Simon Cottrell, in addition to finance director Allister Hill and director of operations Adele Whittle.
The firm currently employs 150 staff in Liverpool’s Mersey Chambers.
