Bridging lender TAB has appointed Mathura Paramjorthy (pictured) as chief operating officer and general legal counsel from London law firm Philip Ross Solicitors.
Paramjorthy is a specialist in property conveyancing, especially in conjunction with development work and secured lending.
Duncan Kreeger, chief executive of TAB, said: “Mathura is a perfect fit for what we are building at TAB.
“Her levels of expertise, dedication to both doing the best for her clients whilst also being a steady hand managing the team around her makes her a welcome addition to the team.
“This is a great coup for TAB, we’re all looking forward to Mathura getting started.”
Paramjorthy joined Philip Ross back in 2008 as a partner, having previously held the same role at law firm Ashton Rowe.
Her clients have ranged from high net worth individuals both in the UK and overseas to brokers, first-time buyers, bridging companies and investors.
Paramjorthy said: “I have known Duncan for a number of years and the opportunity to join and help shape the incredible journey we have ahead was an opportunity I could not turn down. I’m looking forward to getting started.”
TAB is an unregulated bridging firm which lends on residential and commercial properties.
News of its launch emerged in April, while the firm moved to an office in London’s Marylebone on 1 May.
