Hampshire Trust Bank has appointed Ian Alsop to head of underwriting in the commercial mortgages division.

Alsop has more than 20 years’ experience of property lending and recently focused on investment and development transactions in the personal and SME buy-to-let, mixed use and commercial sectors.
Before joining Hampshire Trust Bank he was head of credit at Mizrahi Tefahot Bank in London and head of loans distribution at the Bank of Scotland corporate. He was also director of the Association of Property Lenders.
