This is the latest in a series of new partnerships announced by John Charcol as part of its growth strategy.
John Charcol has signed an exclusive partnership with digital platform OwnMyNest in the latest of a series of new partnerships announced by the mortgage broker.
OwnMyNest was launched earlier this year with the aim of simplifying research and helping first-time buyers explore options to afford and fund their first home.
As a free downloadable app, OwnMyNest presents first-time buyers with information about buying their first home, including: how much they can afford, a funding breakdown, upfront and monthly costs.
Luke Somerset, chief commercial officer at John Charcol, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with OwnMyNest at a time when first-time buyers are having to rely increasingly on Help to Buy and Shared Ownership schemes.
"Whilst these government schemes are welcome, prospective first-time buyers are finding themselves overloaded with information when deciding how to get on the property ladder.
"OwnMyNest solves this problem by making it easy for first-time buyers to explore the options available to them.”
ChengVoon Tong, founder of OwnMyNest, added: “We're really excited about the partnership with John Charcol, as it further strengthens our value proposition to enable more people to get on the property ladder.
"The independent and personalised mortgage advice offered by John Charcol will greatly help our users make more informed decisions and navigate through the multitude of products and options out there.”
