Keystone Property Finance has appointed Sara Finlay-Hudson as business manager for the North East and Gary Dean as business manager for the North West.
Phil Riches, head of sales, said: “Increasingly, portfolio landlords are turning their attentions to the main towns and cities in the north of England where rental income is good but property prices are lower. As such we felt it was time that we had a more visible presence on the ground.
“Having both Sara and Gary will mean that we can properly service brokers both sides of the Pennines.”
Finlay-Hudson more than 30 years’ industry experience to Keystone, most recently as a business development manager for Skipton Building Society.
She said: “I have a solid understanding of buy-to-let which means that I will be able to hit the ground running. Keystone has some great rates and the criteria works well for portfolio landlords with more complex borrowing requirements.
“I’m looking forward to getting on the road, catching up with both brokers I’ve known for years and meeting new ones.
“My patch is a large one, from the Scottish border all the way down to Nottingham where landlords are particularly active.”
Meanwhile Dean joins from Together Money where he has been working for the last two years. Before that he was at Santander.
He said: “My background is in specialist lending so joining Keystone is a good fit for me. Spending the last few years behind a desk, I really can’t wait to get out and meet with brokers face to face.
“I’ll be covering the whole of the North West including Manchester, Liverpool, Preston and as far down as Stoke-on-Trent.”
In recent months Keystone has been actively seeking to improve its reach, particularly as it is now on the panels of 10 networks and mortgage clubs including Simply Biz, Paradigm, Primis and Intrinsic.
Headed up by Phil Riches, the addition of Sara and Gary brings the Keystone business developmentteam total up to seven.
They will be working alongside Moises Cruickshank (London and the South East), Paul Rockett (South West), and Ellie Boys and Phillip Spacey (Derby and Leicester).
