Buy-to-let lender Landbay will launch a decision in principle system in the next couple of weeks with modern features including e-signatures.
The lender will also host broker webinars at a future date as it looks to build more relationships with intermediaries.
Paul Brett (pictured), Landbay’s director of intermediaries who was hired in February to do just that, said: “With the new system we’re looking to go as paperless as possible.”
He added: “We will also look to educate brokers in a 21st century way.
“In five years’ time we want to be a recognised, trusted intermediary name not on the outskirts.”
Brett and Landbay are taking inspiration from specialist mortgage lender Precise Mortgages, which wasn't a well-known brand initially after launching in 2010 but has gone on to becomemore recognisable.
