Lord Macpherson of Earl’s Court has joined the UK Finance board to lead on private banking.
He was formerly permanent secretary to the Treasury and is chairman of private bank C Hoare & Co.
His appointment completes the board, which has 19 other senior industry representatives across retail, SME, wholesale and consumer.
Bob Wigley, chairman of UK Finance, said: “Lord Macpherson’s appointment completes the UK finance board and is another significant milestone for our new association, providing representation for our members in the Private Banking space.
