Mortgage Introducer has launched the Broker Experience Study – the biggest piece of broker research conducted for a number of years.
Mortgage Introducer has teamed up with Tim Hague (Sagis) and Jeff Knight (Grey Matter Marketing Solutions) to create a comprehensive study into brokers' experience with lenders.
The Study will be formed out of an extensive Broker Survey – issued on 8 September to the MI database – followed by a series of focus groups and one-to-one deep-dive interviews to understand broker needs.
Andrew Montlake, MD of Coreco, said: “This survey represents a great opportunity for brokers to feedback what is really happening at the coal face, and getting our voices heard is more important than ever.
“The results will be a great guide for lenders and the industry as a whole to really be able to prioritise the right investments in technology, help to streamline processes for the good of the consumer and focus on strengthening all-important relationships.
“A survey like this can really make the difference and it is refreshing that all brokers are being asked important questions that can help set the future agenda for the industry as a whole.”
The study covers three key areas: the mortgage origination journey; lender technology and the importance of BDMs - all combining to understand the overall broker experience. It has been created following several months of initial conversations with intermediaries.
Once the online survey and group discussions are complete, the study will be prepared into a report with key findings shared here at MI – and separate reports provided to each participating lender and other subscribers.
An early-bird discount is still available for any lenders who haven’t signed up yet.Lenders can get in touch with Hague or Knight for more details.
