This comes just weeks after it partnered with Mortgage Advice Bureau. The new appointments take M&S Bank’s intermediary partnerships to three, after launching with London & Country in January.
Paul Stokes, head of products, M&S Bank said: “We are delighted to welcome Openwork and the Mortgage Advice Bureau as our latest partners.
“These new appointments show that in just a few months, we’ve successfully developed a brokerage channel to include some of the largest mortgage intermediaries.
“Along with developing our product offering for both our direct and intermediary channels, we will continue to add to our broker network throughout the remainder of the year and into next, enabling even more customers to take advantage of the M&S-standard service they have come to know and expect from the brand when they make the biggest and most important purchase they will ever make – their home.”
M&S Bank launched its first mortgage range at the end of January this year. In addition to a number of fixed and tracker options available to home movers and customers looking to remortgage, it also developed a £1,000 cashback for first-time buyers.
M&S Bank is working in partnership with Shelter, the housing and homeless charity. As part of this, it will donate £25 to Shelter for every M&S Bank Mortgage purchased across both its direct and broker channels.
