Saffron Building Society has launched a mortgage brokerage service, Saffron Mortgage Finders (SMF).
The service provides specialist advice on mortgage and mortgage protection products from more than 50 lenders.
SMF will operate as an appointed representative of Openwork, a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulated business supporting mortgage brokers.
The service will be predominantly phone-based, giving customers access to mortgage advisers from 9am to 5.30pm on weekdays, and 9am to 2.30pm on Saturdays.
Meetings, either in-branch or in the customer's workplace, will be available on request.
