The society’s 2-year residential fixed rate is now priced at 2.19% for loans up to 80% loan-to-value.
Scottish Building Society has reduced rates across its residential and professional fixed rate products by 0.30%.
The society’s 2-year residential fixed rate is now priced at 2.19% for loans up to 80% loan-to-value (LTV) with a £995 fee.
Paul Alexander, head of business development and sales strategy, said: “We are pleased to be able to make these reductions, which allow us to continue helping borrowers across Scotland buy their homes.
“Our individual underwriting and flexible approach means we may be able to lend when mainstream lenders cannot and I would urge brokers who have not considered using the Scottish in the past to get in touch.”
Rates on professional mortgages, available to selected professions in Scotland, have also reduced. The rate for loans up to 95% has reduced to 3.19% with a £995 fee.
The rates are available both through intermediaries and direct.
