The new hire will work with the lender’s existing broker network and help forge relationships
Specialist lending bank Shawbrook has appointed Craig Smith as business development manager for the south and central regions of England.
Smith joins the lender from VIBE Finance, where he was head of new business development. He brings with him more than 12 years of business development experience. He won the prestigious ‘Rising Star’ award at the British Lending Solutions Awards in 2021.
Smith will help deliver Shawbrook’s range of lending products and services to more property professionals across the designated regions.

Commenting on his appointment, Smith said he is delighted and proud to join Shawbrook.
“Through my previous work in the industry, I have come to know the company well and have always admired the Shawbrook ethos,” he stated. “I’m hugely impressed with the culture at Shawbrook and the purpose that drives it.
