Shawbrook has hired Paddy Fermor as commercial director in Shawbrook’s Residential Mortgages team.
He has been tasked with helping managing director Jeremy Law drive ‘plans for transformation’.
Fermor said: “My new role offers me a fantastic opportunity to help the business develop some propositions that will offer our existing and new customers something truly different.”
Fermor has joined from Post Office Money, where he led its move from branch-based to digital propositions.
Before that he was at Help for Heroes, Deloitte Consulting and Barclays.
Law said: “Paddy’s wealth of knowledge and expertise will be a huge asset to the Residential Mortgages team and I am excited to work with him to push forward our ambitious change agenda.”
