Spicerhaart Part Exchange and Assisted Move has appointed Tracy Gee as business development manager for the Kent and Sussex region.
Gee (pictured) has more than 20 years’experiencein the property industry, started her career at Hicks Estate Agents as a negotiator andworking forHalifax, Bryant Homes and Westbury Homes. Most recently, she was a local property agent for online estate agency Purplebricks.
Jan Biggins, national sales manager at Spicerhaart Part Exchange and Assisted Move, said: “Tracy has a wealth of experience in the property industry - having worked in estate agency, new build and in finance - so she will be a real asset to the business.
“Our services are in such high demand at the moment that we have an excellent opportunity to expand, both in terms of the areas that we cover and the level of business that we do in those areas and Tracy’s appointment offers a brilliant opportunity for us to expand into the Kent region.
“We will now be looking to bring in more BDMs across other regions across the country.”
Gee added: “I believe that great relationships are the key to great business, so I am determined to ensure I get to know all the key stakeholders so that I can offer the best service possible to my new-build developer clients, my estate agent colleagues and of course, buyers.
"There is a huge amount of new-build going on in Kent at the moment, but the PX team simply hasn’t had enough people on the ground to be able to cover the area before.
“Now that I am on board, focusing purely on the Kent and Sussex region, we have a huge opportunity to show developers how our service can help them sell their plots quickly and easily.”
Gee’s key responsibilities will be to build up relationships with new-build developers in the Kent and Sussex region and with her colleagues in the local estate agency branches to secure new part-exchange relationships for Spicerhaart.
Gee’s appointment marks the third this year – BDM Denise Appleby and consultant Lucy Folly both joined in March – and is part of Spicerhaart PX-AM’s wider expansion plans to move offices and take on more staff.
Spicerhaart Part Exchange and Assisted Move offers both funded and non-funded part-exchange, assisted move and can also facilitate Help to Buy for first-time buyers.
As part of the Spicerhaart group, it has access to a huge network of estate agents, so the division’s outreach is much bigger than its competitors.
Gee said: “In the current climate, people are struggling to shift properties, so the demand for part-exchange is definitely there. It is my job to show developers why Spicerhaart offers the best solution.”
