Teachers Building Society has appointed Dean Fensome as interim chief executive.
Fensome, who will also continue in his role as finance director, joined Teachers in May 2015.
He has over 30 years’ experience in financial services, having held senior roles at the Royal Bank of Scotland and Direct Line Group.
His appointment follows Jamas Bawa's departure to be the new chief executive of Monmouthshire Building Society after being at the helm for 14 years .
