Specialist lenders Foundation Home Loans and United Trust Bank (UTB) have announced key additions to their sales teams.

Foundation has named Keith Jones (pictured left) as its new national account manager, focusing on working with networks, mortgage clubs, and distributor businesses across the UK, enhancing relationships and supporting advisers in navigating the lender’s specialist buy-to-let and residential mortgage offerings.

Jones has been with the lender since 2018, holding various sales and adviser-facing positions, including his most recent role as national sales manager for the residential proposition. He has over 30 years of experience in the mortgage and financial services sector.

“I’m very pleased to be taking up this new role with Foundation after more than six years here in a variety of adviser-facing roles,” Jones said. “My focus now is on developing and growing our relationships with network, mortgage club and other distributor partners to help outline our ambitious plans, and to share our specialist lending knowledge with them.

“We want to be as easy as possible to work with and to ensure advisers can find the specialist lending solutions they need for their clients.”

Meanwhile, UTB has named Gemma Roberts (pictured right) as business development manager (BDM) in its bridging sales team, with a focus on expanding its presence in the North of England.

Roberts brings over 20 years of experience in financial services, most recently serving as intermediary sales manager at Together, where she drove strong regional business growth. Reporting to UTB sales director of bridging Paula Purdy, Roberts will work closely with the Northern England key account manager, Gary Lomax, and internal relationship manager, Amy Medhurst.

“Gemma brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team in both regulated and unregulated bridging,” Purdy said. “Her appointment follows a very successful year for the bank in the North, and it’s clear there’s huge potential for UTB to fulfil the increasing demand for competitive bridging finance from brokers serving developer, investor, and homeowner clients.”

Commenting on her appointment, Roberts said she was thrilled to be part of the team building out UTB’s proposition in the North of England.

“I’m really looking forward to establishing new connections and strengthening relationships with existing broker partners in what is a vibrant and dynamic part of the country,” she added.
