Deal enables the broker to assist commercial clients with specialist finance advice and support
Independent mortgage broker John Charcol has partnered with comparison site Propp.io to provide its commercial clients expert advice and support when obtaining specialist finance.
The partnership will see John Charcol refer a growing number of enquiries for commercial mortgages to Propp’s team via their comparison website. This enables the broker to provide clients with specialist requirements access to competitive commercial and business mortgage rates instantly online, including bridging and development finance.
The Propp team of specialist property finance experts assesses all commercial mortgage applications on a case-by-case basis.
Propp, launched in November 2020, is the UK’s first specialist property finance comparison site.
“We are delighted to be partnering with the Propp team to assist commercial clients with their mortgage needs,” Nick Mendes (pictured), mortgage technical manager at John Charcol, said. “We have a rich history of supporting borrowers with complex mortgage requirements, including business owners who need access to the commercial mortgage market.
“The Propp team are real experts in the commercial space, and their online comparison site is the only place where commercial borrowers can freely compare products to achieve the best available on the market.”
Peter Williams, chief executive at Propp, added that they were looking forward to working with the John Charcol team more closely as the partnership evolves.
“It’s incredibly refreshing to work with likeminded people in the industry who are open to collaboration in the best interest of borrowers across the country,” Williams said. “John Charcol are a market leading mortgage brokerage, and it’s a privilege to be trusted to advise their commercial borrowers and customers with specialist requirements.
“Propp specialises in bridging finance and commercial mortgages, and leverages technology to simplify the process for both lenders and borrowers, driving competition among lenders, and increasing the choice available to borrowers.”
