She joins InterBay's team of specialist finance account managers
Specialist lender OSB Group has promoted Charlotte Parker (pictured) to the position of specialist finance account manager (SFAM) for the south of England at InterBay.
Parker, who has been with the group since 2019, joins InterBay’s team of SFAMs, which supports brokers and their clients with larger and more complex borrowing needs.
She moves into the position from her former role as dual-branded business development manager (BDM) providing brokers with financial solutions from Kent Reliance for Intermediaries and Precise Mortgages. Before joining the OSB Group, Parker, who has been CeMap qualified for 17 years, worked as a mortgage broker for nine years.
“The dual branded role has led to me wanting to explore other areas of the business, specifically commercial and bridging, where I can be more involved in building the case and getting closer to the transaction,” Parker stated. “I am looking forward to meeting up with some of my existing brokers, meeting new ones and discussing how we can really help their clients.”
Marc Callaghan, head of specialist finance at the OSB Group, said he was delighted that Parker has joined InterBay’s team of SFAMs.
“She has demonstrated great expertise in her former roles and her determination to finding the best solutions for clients will stand her in great stead at InterBay,” Callaghan continued. “I have no doubt that Charlotte will be a huge asset to the team and the brokers they support. I’m very pleased that Charlotte has chosen to continue on her career journey with us.”
Just recently, the group – which includes mortgage lending brands Precise Mortgages, Kent Reliance for Intermediaries, and InterBay – has also promoted Joe Baxter to customer-facing BDM, covering the South Coast to South Wales, including Southampton, Bristol, Bath, and Cardiff. He was formerly an office-based BDM, covering OSB Group’s largest patch, consisting of North East England, Scotland, Devon, and Cornwall.
“At OSB Group, we are passionate about career development and helping our colleagues to grow,” Callaghan said. “We are eager to help our colleagues build on their skills and grow their knowledge through training and mentoring and creating opportunities for them to progress into more challenging roles.”
