John Wotton, president of the Law Society, said: “Reaching 1000 in less than a year is indeed a milestone, far exceeding our expectations.
"But CQS is not just about numbers, it is about setting the bar for conveyancing and rebuilding confidence amongst lenders and making it easier for home-buyers to identify genuine quality when buying or selling a home.
“Recent developments elsewhere in the conveyancing market show that the Law Society is leading the way in conveyancing that others are now following."
