The figures have beaten the wildest expectations of the recently launched network – and the signs are that many more brokers and intermediaries are set to join HLP in the weeks ahead.
Managing director Steve Hoare, the man spearheading HLP’s recruitment drive, is delighted with the progress that has been made. "We are delighted by the welcome we have been given by the intermediary community," he said.
"The feedback we have received from our recent round of road shows is extremely positive. Brokers and IFAs like the overall proposition, especially in relation to compliance and training. These are the two key issues that will be affecting the industry in the months ahead and we already seem to be very well positioned to meet the needs of our members in these critical areas."
He added: "With greater numbers of the major and specialist lenders wanting to do business with us we are in the strong position of being able to be able to offer a deal to suit the circumstances of almost any client. We also pay the full procuration fee to our introducers. We don’t claw anything back for ourselves."
