The Grade II listed 12,500 square feet manor house is in need of extensive refurbishment work both internally and externally to bring it back to its former grandeur. Originally constructed in 1145, as a priory, it was later converted to a family residence in 1540 and reconstructed to its current layout in 1825.
Alan Cleary, managing director of Precise Mortgages, said: “This was definitely one of the most unusual properties we have provided finance for and the team at Precise Mortgages and 3mc worked hard to bring the deal to completion for the introducing broker.
“Gareth Lewis, our director of bridging, even visited the property on the day of completion to ensure the deal completed on time.”
Doug Hall, deputy managing director of 3mc, added: “Precise Mortgages is a leader in the specialist mortgage market with many examples of cases such as this one whereby their team takes a proactive approach to getting the job done!”
