All too often lenders say one thing and do another, leaving the broker looking incompetent in the eyes of the client.

One thing though, at the end of the article a C&G spokesman says: ‘Without knowing who the broker is, it is hard to comment’.
Why should it matter who the broker is? Or does C&G have set answers depending on who the broker is – grovelling if it’s one of the ‘nationals’ and dismissive if it’s a smaller broker? That seems to sum up C&G’s attitude at the moment.
