Intermediaries who utilise the sourcing system to select an Accord product will be able to proceed to an online AIP
automatically and, from there, to a full application within the Accord system.
Accord already receives around 75% of its business electronically and recognises that many intermediaries enter considerable amounts of data into the Trigold system for sourcing and compliance purposes. The ability to automatically map that information across to the lender’s underwriting engine will be a significant benefit for Trigold users, cutting out unnecessary duplication of data entry.
The system will also make it easy for intermediaries to access Accord’s online only products and to earn the enhanced procuration fee payable for online business.
Linda Will, Managing Director of Accord said, “Many intermediaries have asked us to develop this electronic link to Trigold to speed up the online process and to help those
who work offline in their customers’ homes. Our decision to partner Trigold was reinforced by the excellent technical support available and by their proactive approach to verifying product details”
Bill Safran, Joint Managing Director of Trigold said, “This type of technical integration was just a dream a couple of years ago and our intermediary users are delighted that Accord, a firm favourite of theirs, is now able to receive electronic applications from
Trigold"
