This development comes as a direct result of research conducted amongst brokers since the launch of the company’s on-line system e:lect. The number of paper applications received has significantly reduced since its introduction, as brokers choose to take the easier route of transacting on-line.
e:lect launched in June 2006 as the Advantage direct to lender on-line decisioning system and, since then, thousands of brokers who place their business with Advantage have given the clear message that they prefer the ease of transacting business on-line. Client declaration requirements remain unchanged. Paper applications will continue to be accepted via packagers.
Keith Dearling, managing director of Advantage, said: “Since the launch of e:lect, our on-line decisioning system, we have seen a dramatic fall in the level of paper applications being received. This is in the main due to technology advancements and brokers embracing these changes, enabling them to grow their businesses at an accelerated rate, with less time spent on paperwork. We have continued to develop our on-line services over the past year and now offer a free AVM option along with on-line binding decisions, on-line application submission, case tracking and for every case electronic ID checking.”
