Emma Burt, Jonathan Stinton and Paul White. In addition, two internal promotions have been secured by Paul McGlynn and Greg Prescott who take up roles as regional sales managers. The appointments reflect Advantage’s commitment to building and developing a strong sales team throughout the UK.
Emma Burt, Business Development Manager – London region
Emma has ten years’ experience in the mortgage industry and joins Advantage to develop the firm’s relationships with specialist intermediaries in the capital whilst boosting sales. She was recruited from The Mortgage Works, where she spent nearly ten years specialising in client relationship management and then sales, latterly holding responsibility as Business Development Manager, South East England region. Emma will report to Mick Bradley, Head of Intermediary Sales - South.
Jonathan Stinton, Business Development Manager – Belfast region
Jonathan joins Advantage with 9 years’ sales and account handling experience, two of which were gained whilst working for BT retail. He spent a further five years as a Financial Planning Certificate- and CEMAP-qualified broker. Jonathan will report to Paul McGlynn, Regional Sales Manager, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Paul White, Business Development Manager – Bath region
Paul has worked within the mortgage industry since 1998. Most recently, Paul held the role of Intermediary Sales Manager for the Oxfordshire area for C&G, having moved from a role as Business Development Representative for C&G in Cheltenham. During his career Paul has also worked for Britannia Building Society, where he was in charge of direct mortgages. Paul will report to Greg Prescott, Regional Sales Manager – South West.
In addition to the three new appointments, Advantage is pleased to announce the promotion of two employees to the role of regional sales manager. Paul McGlynn and Greg Prescott, former BDMs for Scotland & Northern Ireland and the South West respectively, now take up their posts as regional sales managers for these same regions. Their remit will be to manage teams of business development managers in their regions and drive forward sales.
Paul McGlynn, Regional Sales Manager – Scotland and Northern Ireland
Paul has 17 years’ experience in financial services gained from roles with HBOS and latterly in the non-conforming market with the TFC Group. Paul joined Advantage in February 2006. In his new role, Paul will head up a team of business development managers in Scotland and Northern Ireland with the aim to drive forward Advantage’s proposition in these areas, and to ensure that brokers in Scotland and Northern Ireland are provided with innovative products specific to their areas. Paul will report to Jeff Dawson, Head of Intermediary Sales – North.
Greg Prescott, Regional Sales Manager – South West
Greg joined Advantage as Business Development Manager for the South West in 2005. Previously he worked for Future Mortgages, dealing with their first and seconds business. Greg started his financial services career with C&G and worked in various roles including direct sales and a business development manager role. Greg will report into Mick Bradley, Head of Intermediary Sales - South.
