Advantage, a Morgan Stanley Group company, has announced the appointment of David Dalby FRICS as Chief Surveyor.
David will be responsible for managing the Advantage valuation panel, developing criteria on valuation matters and for quality control. He has extensive knowledge of surveying and brings more than 30 years experience in surveying and residential valuations to his new role.
He has previously been Director of Training and Development at Connells Survey & Valuation where he was responsible for overseeing the quality and audit control process and for training over 200 surveyors. He also acts as Deputy Chairman of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Regulatory Board, is a member of the examination board for Home Inspectors and Energy Assessors and is a member of the Council of Mortgage Lenders Valuation Panel.
