The At Retirement Planner is part of the ongoing development of this solution, providing guidance for advisers with clients who are considering retirement imminently.
When assessing the suitability of the various at retirement solutions (Annuity, Phased Drawdown and Unsecured Pension), advisers must take into consideration the varied needs that different clients have before determining the most appropriate product mix for them.
AEGON's solution helps advisers consider various elements such as the client's need for a secure income in retirement, life cover, tax free cash, critical yields, lifetime allowance, as well as attitude to investment risk and existing pension arrangements. Client-friendly reports ensure the results of this analysis can be explained and demonstrated to the client.
