The platform was piloted in 2012 by AFI’s Key Account partners and when fully operational it will allow brokers access to the lender’s 123 Current Account.
Brad Fordham, sales director of intermediary distribution, said: “We’re delighted with the success of our pilot and we are looking forward to rolling this out to the wider intermediary market shortly.
“The 123 Current Account has been really popular so we’re pleased to be extending it out to our intermediary contacts and their clients this year.”
Intermediaries will be able to recommend a Santander current account through an online referral process.
