It will examine regulatory ad legislative issues which will have an impact on the way its members conduct their day-to-day business
Available at www.aifa.net, the blog’s launch coincides with the attendance of AIFA director general, Chris Cummings, at the Labour and Conservative Party conferences.
Cummings said: “We are always looking for new ways to communicate with our members and the financial services industry. This will be a great new way for people to hear first hand the work that we are involved in and gain an insight into our day-to-day work.
“It is a challenging time for the industry so it is vital that AIFA represents its members at the highest political level. By launching this blog during conference season we will be able to say instantly what we are doing on their behalf.”
There has also been a new Current Issues blog launched alongside this. It has been designed to allow the staff at AIFA to ensure that their members are kept up to date on all key issues within the industry.
