He is tasked with driving the bank's new strategy in the property market
Aldermore Bank has appointed Ross Dalzell (pictured) as managing director of its property division.
Dalzell has more than 15 years of experience in financial services, as well as extensive knowledge of product development. He joins from Barclays, where he held a number of positions within the corporate and business banking divisions, most recently as managing director and head of business relationships.
In his new role, Dalzell is expected to drive the bank’s new strategy in the property market, which is central to Aldermore’s growth plans. He will also be responsible for developing new, innovative products and services to assist the self-employed, first-time buyers, and those with less than perfect credit histories to get on the property ladder.
Dalzell will join the bank’s executive committee, and will report to chief executive officer Steven Cooper.
“We’re delighted to welcome Ross to the team,” Cooper said. “He brings with him a wealth of experience that will be invaluable as Aldermore implements its new growth strategy, which our property division is central to.
“We’re a bank that’s always there to help people and businesses whose ambitions haven’t always been supported by the high street lenders. Ross’s expertise will play a vital role as we continue to offer greater choice and opportunity for people to go for it in life and in business.”
