He will be responsible for raising awareness of the bank’s invoice finance proposition in North Lancashire, Flyde and Preston.
Invoice finance and factoring are used by small and medium-sized businesses to improve their cashflow and fund their future expansion.
Briggs will report to Martine Catton, regional sales director at Aldermore invoice finance.
Prior to joining Aldermore, Briggs was at RBS, NatWest, Venture Finance and Close Invoice Finance, where he was responsible for liaising with business owners, accountants and brokers.
Martine Catton said: “Clive already has considerable experience working with brokers and small and medium sized businesses in the North West and will therefore be able to make an immediate impact.”
