Beattie has 17 years’ experience in the residential and buy-to-let market after starting out at Newcastle Building Society before spending 13 years at Skipton Building Society – where he recently worked as business development manager for Scotland.

Beattie has been named business development manager of the year at Skipton in four of the past five years.
He said: “I am really looking forward to getting out and meeting brokers face-to-face on behalf of Aldermore.
“Building on the trusted relationships that I already have, I will be working closely with my new colleague at the Bank to provide the highest level of service to our customers and introducers.”
