Reporting to Simon Knowles, head of property development, Ian is responsible for liaising with specialist finance brokers, working across North West, Yorkshire and North Wales, to source, evaluate and structure potential new development finance opportunities.
Pickering is based in Cheshire and has more than 11 years’ experience gained in the Development Finance market.
Most recently, Pickering was commercial underwriting manager for Lancashire Mortgage Corporation and has also worked for Davenham Property Finance where he spent nine years working as a senior property manager, client relationship director, underwriter and business development manager.
He said: “I’m delighted to have joined Aldermore, which is really making its presence felt in the development finance market.
