Topliss will be based in Aldermore’s Birmingham office in Newhall Street and report to regional managing director, Tony Smedley.
He will be responsible for ensuring Aldermore delivers a high quality, fast and reliable service to business clients based in the Midlands.
Prior to joining Aldermore Topliss was head of operations for Bibby Financial Services in Leicester where he had responsibility for a team of 40 staff covering client relations, underwriting and recoveries.
He has also worked for Royal Bank of Scotland Invoice Finance where he was head of client relations in the Midlands.

Invoice finance is used by small and medium sized businesses to improve their cashflow and fund their future expansion.
