Upton briefly replaced Matthew Wyles as managing director of Castle Trust’s mortgage division, while before that was head of sales with the lender.
Masthaven has confirmed the appointment of Alex Upton as sales director from Castle Trust.
Upton took over as managing director ofCastle Trust’s mortgage division when Matthew Wyles' departed last week, while before that she was head of sales for the lender.
Matt Andrews, managing director of mortgages at Masthaven, said: "We are delighted to be welcoming Alex Upton to the Masthaven team later this year.
"She’ll be joining as sales director in our long-term lending division – a newly created role which reflects the considerable growth we’ve achieved already in 2018.
“Alex brings a wealth of market experience, and will be instrumental in helping us to successfully carry out the exciting plans we have laid out for the second half of the year. We look forward to working with such a high calibre addition to the team.”
Wyles joined Hampshire Trust Bank as chief executive last week.
