This week, the FSA began sending out hard copies of application packs to those firms that indicated they wish to submit paper-based forms. The FSA will start accepting completed applications from 19 January.
Firms that have indicated they wish to apply electronically will receive their log-on passwords at a later date, when the FSA is in a position to receive completed applications.
Authorised firms that require a Variation of Permission (VOP) to cover their mortgage and/or general insurance business, can now view the sample form by clicking on 'If you are already FSA authorised,' at www.fsa.gov.uk/mgi
