Smith said AMPD is a ‘not for profit’ Alliance and operates on a ‘one man one vote’ basis. He maintains this is a major reason for the interest in new members: “We are not looking to expand just for the sake of it. It is now likely we may take time to monitor and take stock to ensure that our increased growth is bringing the value we seek for both AMPD and our lending partners."
