Wilgoss is a seasoned mortgage veteran and joins from London-based Capital Private Finance where he was a mortgage broker since the venture was launched in 2011. Previous to Capital Private Finance he was managing director at award-winning mortgage brokerage Square Mile Mortgage Finance.
Andy Wilgoss said: “Westminster Wealth has ambitious growth plans over the coming months and years and I’m pleased to be able to play a part.
“It’s clear that the culture and ethos at the firm is one of integrity and rewarding quality advice. It’s a great place to work and quality experienced Brokers would fit in if they believe in a client centric proposition whilst benefiting from the copious business levels generated by the 30 IFAs here.
Martin Lockyer, managing partner at Westminster Wealth Management, added: “Andy was recommended to me by a high net worth client of mine. After we met it was clear he was very knowledgeable, well-respected and would fit in with our professional culture.
“Andy is the latest recruit in our growth plans to attain 50 IFAs with £1bn AUM over the next three years. We currently stand at 30 IFAs with £500m AUM so our goals are ambitious, but we have a series of exciting business and marketing initiatives to help us achieve them.
“We have a robust business model in place that does not require us to grow, but we feel the time is now right to expand in a bold but sustainable way that allows us to recruit talented new IFAs and Mortgage Brokers while maintaining our corporate ethos.”
