Home Finance Providers include firms providing or administering regulated mortgage plans, home reversion plans, or home purchase plans, commonly known as Islamic mortgages.
The re-designed forms provide the following benefits:
· Better and simplified guidance;
· Improved system navigation to ensure the user has the correct form; and
· Shorter application forms with questions tailored to the applicants business
As part of its commitment to be easier to do business with, the FSA is detailing what supporting information is required before applicants are able to download the appropriate forms.
Applicant firms will complete a Core form, a supplement and a declaration. Other forms may be necessary depending on the complexity of the firm.
Applicants can navigate to these forms via the following link www.fsa.gov.uk/Pages/Doing/how/index.shtml where they will be asked six questions about their firm. Once these questions have been answered links will be displayed to enable the user to download the forms they require which are relevant to their business.
