Brokers have been able to submit mortgage business to Sun Bank, the specialist lending arm of the Portman Building Society, via APS Europe for a considerable time before the sales forces were combined and now they will be able to benefit from receiving competitive procuration fees from both lenders.
The Manchester-based mortgage club pay 0.35% for all completed business submitted directly to the Portman with an APS Europe sticker attached to the application form.
APS Europe director Ben Gardner says: “We are delighted to be able to offer good fees to our brokers for both Sun Bank and Portman products.
“The addition of the Portman provides an excellent range of fixed, discounted and tracker products which are often in mortgage best buy tables.
“It is an extra option for our members and I am sure our intermediaries and the Portman stand to benefit from the relationship.”
