The service will initially be to assist intermediaries with their applications for direct authorisation with the Financial Services Authority (FSA) but will also include a full range of compliance support services for life under the new regulator.
The facility will be available to all APS Europe members regardless of the size of their firm or their individual requirements.
APS Europe brokers will benefit from a 10% discount off Compliance Solutions’ usual fees in addition to a Professional Indemnity Insurance scheme.
Other services will include providing firms with relevant compliance documentation and plans to meet FSA standards including compliance manuals, training and competence plans and necessary registers.
There will also be the choice for firms who do not require on-going support or assistance to buy in ad-hoc compliance such as a Health check or help with their compliance procedures.
Of particular interest to mortgage brokers will be the Complaint Handling Service that Compliance Solutions have developed to help protect brokers.
