Responsible for promoting Assetz Fund Management to the Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) networks, Charles will oversee the launch of a series of funds focusing on developer funding and smaller niche markets both in the UK and overseas.
Charles has worked in financial services for eight years, working for Prudential and the portfolio management company Suisse Partners. He has experience in dealing with property as an investment, focusing on overseas buy-to-let in particular.
Commenting on his appointment, Charles said: “I was familiar with the Assetz name and had admired its ethos for some time. This is an exciting period in the growth of the fund side of the business as it expands into arenas such as developer funding and I look forward to bringing more imaginative and innovative funds to our introducers and their investors.”
Stuart Law, managing director of Assetz, added: “With indirect investment in property the most likely route available to pension investors, the fund side of our business is going from strength to strength. I am confident this new appointment will enable us to get the message out to IFAs and wealth managers that property investment can still make up a significant and important part of investors’ retirement planning.”
