Based in the European HQ in Windsor Ross will lead the compliance function and advise the board on regulatory matters across the region.
This will include directing the development and implementation of compliant processes and procedures, and ensuring that all areas of Assurant Solutions European organisations meet the regulatory requirements in their respective countries.
Ross joins Assurant Solutions from Mercer where she spent the past two years as regulatory co-ordinator for Europe, although her role encompassed the entire EMEA region.
Prior to that, she was an insurance supervisor for retail firms at the Financial Services Authority for two and a half years. And before joining the FSA, she spent four years at PWC working out of London and Sydney, Australia.
