Stephen Harper, chief executive of Attivo Group, said: “In an increasingly competitive marketplace having John’s extensive industry knowledge and contacts is a tremendous advantage.
“We are truly delighted that someone of his calibre and background has decided to join our growing team.
“His vast experience of the adviser sector will be invaluable in helping us identify the type of firms and partners that we need to work with to build value for the future.”
As Attivo distribution director Hayden will drive growth initiatives, identifying potential partners and adviser firms which can add value to the group by promoting sustainable revenue growth.
In January the wealth management firm announced that it planned to double funds under management to £1bn by 2017 with at least six adviser firm acquisitions planned for the next 12 months.
The firm has already acquired Middlesex-based Anthony Etkind and Amersham-based Alistair Clift this year, adding a further £60m funds under management.
