As mortgage regulation grows ever nearer, AXA Adviser Network believes it will become increasingly important for mortgage advisers to demonstrate that they are providing their clients with well researched advice, underpinned by the security of fully compliant systems.
In response, AXA Adviser Network has developed a customised and fully upgraded Mortgage Code Compliance Board (MCCB) compliant version of Trigold’s Prospector Plus mortgage point of sale and documentation system. This includes a single key entry process and pre-populating documents that minimise input work for the adviser, making the process faster and easier.
This links to AXA’s bespoke panel of lenders, managed by Mortgage Next. The panel gives access to exclusive products and deals from a wide range of high street and sub-prime lenders, and offers advisers a packaging facility and 24 hour procuration fee payment. Dedicated staff also provide assistance to advisers, either face to face or over the telephone, to help them to pinpoint the best mortgage package for their clients in a rapidly changing market.
In addition to AXA’s own term assurance proposition, AXA’s Mortgage Solutions will now offer access to a bespoke panel of non-regulated term and critical illness providers via Bankhall Point One which will enable advisers to provide their clients with a wide choice of competitively priced products.
In order to provide protection to advisers and their clients, AXA’s Mortgage Solutions will now be offering Professional Indemnity cover at preferential rates for mortgage code advice, general insurance and non-regulated term business.
To ensure that advisers are able to make the most of these enhancements, AXA Adviser Network will be providing a number of training and support initiatives: a team of 20 Mortgage Solutions Champions will be providing training to all users across the UK. In addition, guidance on compliance requirements of the MCCB will be available to AXA advisers via Bankhall Point One’s helpline, compliance manual and audit visits.
Mortgage Solutions integrates, in one easy to use package, Mortgage Sourcing, Life Assurance Protection, and Building and Contents insurance, with full compliance support across the proposition.
Gary Tarleton, Sales & Client Management Director of AXA Sun Life, said: “Since the launch of AXA’s Mortgage Solutions earlier this year, we have attracted over double the number of members we had anticipated. As well as meeting the requirements of the MCCB, mortgage advisers are increasingly looking to access services that offer the best products, straightforward administration and competitive fees. These enhancements will ensure that AXA’s Mortgage Solutions maintains its ‘best of breed’ status.”
