Doug will be responsible for all the group's technology projects as well as internal systems. He will also lead initiatives to deliver greater value to customers and advisers as well as enabling a step change in BBB's operating efficiency.
Doug joins from Misys Financial Services where he was Chief Operating Officer of the Assureweb portal and IT Director of Sesame. Whilst there, he delivered the first end to end trading platform for IFAs and managed a budget in the region of £15m. Since first joining IBM in 1978, where he remained for 20 years, Doug has built an impressive track record for on target delivery of large and challenging technology projects.
