The two new senior officers joining are Peter Welsh and Chris Tracey. Peter has over 15 years experience in the mortgage industry having managed a client facing sales team, been a business development manager and running his own mortgage advice firm. He is an integral part of BDS and brings with him a wealth of knowledge of the sales process which will prove invaluable in his role.
Chris has worked within financial services for over 25 years latterly contracting for large firms for T & C and training. Within this new role he will spend the majority of his time visiting AR’s and undertaking vital compliance monitoring as well as imparting his knowledge and experience within the sales market.
These appointments ensure that its current 62 AR firms – with more in pipeline - have an all encompassing support service that is second to none, on hand offering monitoring and guidance.
Phil Jay, managing director BDS Mortgage Group commented: “With a Network the size and calibre of ours, we want to provide AR’s with the support they need and more. With these new recruits taking the team to eight, I am confident that once again BDS has delivered on its promises and will go from strength to strength.”
Mike Davies still heads the compliance team for BDS in addition to recently taking responsibility for compliance at Unity Homeloans. Davies commented “Getting the right quality of compliance staff is always difficult but we have been very fortunate with these recruitments.”
